Virtual Control Panel Once the trainee has mastered the operating (switching) process on the symbolic level (interactive circuit diagram) he/she progresses towards reality by starting to do the operating on virtual control panels that are similar in function to the real control panels. The trainee has to take the same steps that a real operator would have to take in a real high voltage yard. An example is the warning tags that have to be attached to the control panel (top-right corner).
