Polyphem Fiber Optic Guided Missile Training Simulator (VR)

Product Description

This system allows the trainee to control a fiber guided video missile through several complete missions in virtual reality first, before progressing to reality-based training. The combination of real terrain data, realistic performance models and realistic targets provides the user with an extraordinary visualization and learning experience. The trainee learns how to control the missile and how to select the optimum targets. The trainee also learns how to recognize specific features within a landscape. The targets and landscape may be rendered in full color or in simulated InfraRed. A database of trainee proficiency is maintained, e.g. the number of virtual missiles flown and the number and quality of the hits.
